Slip-On Method: Make a 90° cut with a sharp knife, allowing extra space to avoid stretching. Slip the Thermoflex along the tubing (it easily accommodates 45° bends and elbows), brush joints and seams with adhesive, insert the foam over the entire pipe length, position it tightly against fittings, and press seams together when adhesive is nearly dry.
Snap-On Method: Cut unslit Thermoflex lengthwise, snap it over the pipe, coat slit seams evenly with adhesive, hold seams apart while drying, and press surfaces together when adhesive is dry but sticky. For two-layer installations, stagger the joints for enhanced protection.
Fitting Installation: Snap slit fitting covers over joints, fabricate fittings using 45° and 90° angle cuts with adhesive, press firmly when adhesive is ready, apply adhesive to slit seams, and brush between overlap surfaces.
